Their pieces are shaped slowly by hand and finished through fire, smoke, and natural surface treatments. For Apapacho World, they create a range of our clay objects, from vessels and figures to sculptural forms.
Toño González
Toño González is an artisan from Tepeaca, Puebla, whose work centers on carving onyx and marble. Each stone is hand-cut using a variety of tools, allowing the final form to emerge through its veining, tones, weight, and natural translucency. For Apapacho World, he creates stone objects ranging from vessels to our furniture designs.
Adela Cortés
Adela Cortés is a clay artisan whose practice is rooted in hand-built forms and everyday use. Her work brings together function and touch, shaping pieces intended to live on the table and in daily rituals. For Apapacho World, she specializes in our functional clay objects and tableware.
